Transformation

If you were to walk past any one of us on a busy street or see us at the local grocery store, you would not observe anything especially weird, other than a gentle smile combined with a zest for life. In other words, we are “everyman” and we come from all walks of life.  We are geographically dispersed, representing various races, sexes, creeds and careers. That said, the one thing we have in common is an extraordinary vision, married to an undying commitment to make the world a better place through our deep and sustained transformation. Sound enticing? Here are some questions to ask of yourself to determine if we are in resonance.

  • Are you a die-hard transformation enthusiast, health nut or dedicated spiritual seeker?
  • Do you have a library of metaphysical books, which could qualify your home as a branch office for Barnes & Noble?
  • Do you have a nagging sense that you have been “called” to be a leading voice in the emerging field of elevating cosmic consciousness?
  • Do you have a vision for the planet, which you have had difficulty implementing?
  • Are you sick and tired of suffering with the nagging feeling of “not enough” in one or more areas of your life?
  • Do you wish to see a wonderful world, and yet find yourself bothered by the political, financial, social, environmental, religious issues being faced by the planet right now?

If you jive with what you already feel about the New Essenes, then please join us or reach out to one of our XPR Advisors to learn more about what may be possible for you. If you want to know more, read on.

Hunger and Purity

What are you hungry for: food, sex, money, knowledge, social media? Do you find yourself being addicted to any of the above, and losing your energy into a defeating sense of “too much/not enough?” The ancients have said it before: “until you hit purity, you’re always going to be hungry!” The SOULution is to let go of the external, the without and to turn within. That change of direction is easier said than done. Indeed, the tyranny of appearances—or of being seen—blocks the grace of aloneness, as it keeps us nicely entertained by endless distractions, whose sole purpose is to delay entering the dark abysmal womb, where to feel our pain. As long as we attach to the other (a partner, or another bite or that rich dessert), the feminine embrace that is at the root of the words “patience,” “passion,” and “compassion” eludes us. When we are compulsive and unable to wait, can we really lose weight and not regain it? The New Essenes are on a healing path to transcending the indoctrination to hide our essence. Once beyond shame, it becomes possible to speak an honest “yes” or an honest “no,” and suddenly, we are heard! There is now an alignment between what we say we want and what we have for real. The safety of Self-Knowledge erodes the old need to defend/attack, and the pounds are free to fall off, the abundance is free to rush in. Sooo… Why are you overeating? What are you attempting to forget or to forgive? What misuse of force are you resisting feeling? These are some of the questions that the more advanced courses on the Path assist you to answer for good, so that you would come to a fulfillment that is so unshakable that LOVE would permeate the gaping hole.

The most essential building we could ever construct is our Peace of mind: when our mind inhabits Jerusalem (“City of Peace”), the temple can be rebuilt. The temple is the body. The builder is a sane mind: indeed, “Go, and sin no more, that you may never again see disease.” EGOP. The more we become aware of the mouth chakra, the more the common sense of the Word comes to life. Since it is agreed that words construct worlds, then the stones of such building must be the letters. The three Roman letters XPR transliterate the Hebrew root-verb for “light, sound, number, and letter.” Lighting a gentle path for us to eXPRess, eXPeRience and eXPiRe to our limitations, XPR is perfect to assist us (re)build our sanctuary…

Manna & Money

The manna was an edible substance that, according to the Bible and the Qur’an, “God” provided to the Israelites during their travels in the desert. Although “manna” is a noun, the original Hebrew translates as “what is it?” Food is “God.” Divine nectar, it is metabolized in our system as light energy: the more sun in the food, the more vibrational, and the easier it is to digest. Everything is “God,” “Gold as the Sun” or “One.” As I come to unity, I am at once at the banquet of the gods and food for the gods! The more I know that, the more I occupy my sanctuary: I am safe. If not, I tend to misuse my force, hoard my gifts and, if I keep doing that, dis-ease ensues. Ease in digestion means balance. Then food can be medicine; not to be abused but taken in prescribed dosage and regular intervals. It becomes functional in making the body strong. Are you eating to live or living to eat? If the later, you are digging your grave with your teeth, filling your stomach to make up for an empty life. Are you opting out of life as you are a sensitive challenged by the perceived density of the body? These are deep questions, asked at the time when most of America is overweight! Freedom, as the song goes, is just another word for “nothing left to lose…” That means being beyond the attachment to a pound of flesh, or a dollar! Yes, losing weight may just be a greater affair than suppressing appetite. It may in fact be about recovering my appetite for a life well-lived, from the guts to sustain a vibrational communion with “God!” Healing is to open to the sacredness of food—of all that is—and respect that. Rather than eating the shame, it soon is unthinkable to nourish me from anything than from the light. My food choices change from within: I spontaneously honor the divinity in food, and I answer the question we started with: what is it? A blessing!

XPR as the Red Pill

rx

As per the pharmaceutical symbol to the above, XPR is the red pill: “you take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.” The Matrix, science-fiction movie, 1999. The R of the symbol comes from the Latin “Recipere” for “take this Recipe.” The X refers to the Roman God, Jupiter. It is an invocation for a cure, from the UnderStanding that illness is a karmic retribution for an offense made to GOD/ness. As for the P that is Part of R, might it be for the P in XPR as a long-awaited Panacea?
